Twin is a brass sculpture that scatters light into a myriad of colours and intensities. Its minimalistic body - inspired by the Tetragonal crystal system - was conceived as an instrument for light to play with.

The extended dimension of the brass profiles allows the light beams to reflect repeatedly within the lamp body, before being projected into the surrounding environment. The multiple colours displayed are the result of carefully calibrated optics and brasswork, as the lightsource is a pair of single-colour integrated LED.

The result is a light painting, in which the decorative patterns embrace a space that goes far beyond the physical presence of the sconce.
